Check out the Looks: I wore a black dress from Tommy Hilfiger that had wide grey stripes. The black part had velvety material, that felt luxurious yet still comfortable. I threw on a faux fur vest that is also from Tommy, then I added a black crystal necklace, sparkle bobble ring and velvet bucket purse. I've interchanged different looks to make it more versatile, so I'll describe each style tip below each photo.
Tip: Tone down a dressy look by adding a pair of casual or punk boots. Don't be afraid to mix casual and dressy: that's the whole point of being Lazy Luxe! The Style Genius.

Lazy Luxe
Hey guys! I asked one of my friends to take some good photo's of me for my blog. I am aware that I'm not a professional model, but he showed me some tips and tricks to make my pictures look a little more modelesque. I hope you like the new smizing that I'm trying to pull off. Also, quick disclaimer: the title for this post may or may not be the name of my new blog. I'm hoping to get a new camera that takes better quality photos, and I wanted to change the name to something a little less lame. I think "Lazy Luxe", kind of suits my style and my advice: quick and easy. What do you think? I myself don't spend hours in the morning getting ready, which is more like 20 minutes after I finally roll out of bed. Ultimately I do want to change it, when I get my new camera, and perhaps start uploading vlogs as well, who knows! But there will definitely be changes. Anyway, thanks for viewing, I appreciate it!

Feeling a little vintage
Hey guys, so I spent the last six days at my grandmas on vacation while my dad was down from Toronto. My sisters and I had a little fun with makeup, accessories and some vintage items. He left today, major bummer, but at least I have some photos to remember the good times!
Check out the look: I paired a girly vintage polka dot blouse with deep red lipstick and a peacock hairpiece. I brushed my hair dry in order to create a fuller more natural style.
Style tips: Have fun! Don't be afraid to play dress up with your wardrobe, you will learn how to better utilize the clothes you have while buying less. When you think about fashion-think of makeup and hair as well.

Falling For You
Hey so I'm back, with some fall photos! I don't have any close-ups, but if you like anything I'm wearing, I'd be happy to let you know. The leaves were beautiful yellows, and oranges which inspired me to incorporate them into the shoot. I know it’s not very seasonally appropriate right now (Christmas is in less than 2 weeks) but I thought I'd throw these up anyway. Enjoy!
Check out the look: I wore a patterned dress from American eagle that was a little bohemian, added a military olive jacket from H&M, gray tights, cat eye sunglasses from Le Chateau and brown American Eagle booties.
Style Tips: Mix tones; earth colors look great in fall. You can be casual and still look cute for a nice walk in the park!

Lime Green
So I know I've been MIA for the past couple of weeks, only because I've been very busy with so many things. I'm training for management at my job, and just got back from a trip to Toronto for my cousins wedding (some pics will be up soon).I just don't want you to think I am abandoning you guys! I'm back, and will try not to have too many gaps in between posts. Right now I'm still working on a Fall Look-book, trying to combine my drawings with other inspirational pictures of trends, outfits, and fashion pieces. In the meantime, enjoy my new outfit post!
Check out the look: I paired my lime green ruffled top with black jeggins and nude pumps, I added some interest with an edgy fringe purse!
Style Tips: This is a great date look, and can definitely be altered to suit your style. If you don't dig the lime green colour, try coral or raspberry. Stick with a neutral shoe, and pick out some quirky accessories. Don't go over the top, keep it light and fun.

Getting Sporty
Family Weekend!
My dad came down from Toronto this weekend and we decided to play badminton and soccer at the park today. We obviously had a blast! This is my little sister Kendra's athletic outfit.
Style Tips: I always say give a monochromatic look a pop of color, even when it comes to sports wear. Keep it simple of course, and don't wear anything you have to tug and pull at.
:)
Hope you had a fashionable weekend!

Lace, Black and Grey
Yet another shoot; as per usual I stand in front of a beautiful backdrop! I took these pictures on top of a grassy hill near my house. Notice my last post was white? I swear I didn't plan this!
Check out the look: I paired an all black ensemble (cotton pants and tank top), added a lace tie up top from Banana Republic (thrift store find), with a pair of suede grey strap sandals with a snake skin detail on the heel. Funky!
Style Tips: Even though I shot this during the day, it's definitely an evening look for summer. It's okay to go all black, and don't worry it's only considered a rut if it's all you wear. Add a pair of interesting heels with a pop of color, or cool detailing. Like I always say be confident and add some gold jewelry to give the look a more expensive feel!

Things from Turkey!
I can't get enough of these great gifts I got from Turkey, I couldn't wait to show you guys!
Check out the look: A laid back easy vibe, where I paired a short cream dress with a knee length white crochet slip underneath. I added a white and celery green patterned scarf for an eclectic feel. Did you know that Turkey is in the middle of Europe and Asia? How cool!
Style tips: If you layer dresses, make sure the cut lengths flatter your body when you try them on, this is so you don't end up looking bulky in some areas. Please don't be afraid to experiment with tones and textures. Here I did cream and white, with thick crochet and light polyester.
